Fornite for Android Now Available, But There's a Catch

The much awaited Fortnite for Android devices has finally and officially arrived! Thanks to Epic Games for formally announcing its arrival through the Samsung Unpacked Event where the Galaxy Note 9 was unveiled. However, there is a tiny catch, at least for now. The Fortnite for Android is still in beta version and only select Android devices will be able to download the game "in the coming days" as per Epic Games.

It is also very important to know that while Fornite for Android is officially a thing, it will not be available for download from the Google Play Store. Instead, interested players with their compatible devices will have to download the game directly from Epic Games' Fortnite Android website.

For now until August 12, only Samsung Galaxy S7 and up devices (S7, S7 Edge, S8, S8+, S9, S9+ and Note 8) will get the Fortnite beta invites first. After that, a select few Android devices can signup for the invite via Fortnite Android website.
