Redmi 8 Appears on TENAA with Key Specs


The upcoming Redmi 8 smartphone, the inevitable follow up to this year's Redmi 7, alledgedly spotted on TENAA website giving us more details on its key technical specifications and physical design.

The TENAA listing shows us a device that goes under M1908C31C code name. According to the photos, though not very clear, the Redmi 8 appears to bear waterdrop notch for the 8MP selfie camera and a dual camera setup on the back with main shooter at 12MP. Right below the rear cameras we see a traditional fingerprint scanner. Also on the back seems to be made of glossy matertial.

As for the memory and storage options, the said Redmi 8 will come in three configurations and those are going to be 2GB+16, 3GB+32GB, and 4GB+64GB with support to microSD card up to 512GB. On the software side, it is expected to be running on the current Android 9 Pie with Redmi's own UI on top. The batter is very huge on this one coming in at 5000mAh pack. The listing shows a fast charge support but did no mention how fast.
